Shane M, Jack L, and Austin B all contributed in the big inning with RBIs. Franklin Square Tigers 8U opened up scoring in the first inning when Austin singled on a 1-0 count, scoring two runs. MERRICK MAYHEM 8U took the lead for good with four runs in the third inning. In the third HUDSON S singled on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring one run, LUCAS F drew a walk, scoring one run, KURT R singled on a 2-1 count, scoring one run, and LOGAN M grounded out, scoring one run. HAYDEN T was on the pitcher's mound for MERRICK MAYHEM 8U. He allowed three hits and five runs over three innings, striking out two. Nicholas B toed the rubber for Franklin Square Tigers 8U. He went four innings, allowing six runs on eight hits and striking out six. Jasper P threw two innings in relief. MERRICK MAYHEM 8U socked one home run on the day.
